Happy first Friday Coffee Order, everyone.

I don’t have a structure for how I’d like these to fit and feel, probably something a little bit more pop culture-centric than the traditional Monday posts which lean more personal. However, with this paywall, I do feel more freedom to overshare, and why limit ourselves?

I spend a lot of time on Instagram but as most of you know, am off TikTok. Instagram doesn’t break any news for me, it’s mainly just where I can see pictures of select friends my algorithm favors and pictures of toy-sized dogs and fashion #inspo. Twitter is probably where I get most of my information, but that can be a terrible place as well.

Twitter reminded me why I love it so much this week with Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reuniting after their latest joint film venture, Kiss of the Spider Woman.

I have not a clue in the world what this movie is about, nor do I care. The only piece of knowledge I’ve been granted is that Ben Affleck’s production company did a solid for his twice-divorced wife by funding a passion project for her (because she apparently can’t?).

Everybody’s two favorite messy exes graced the red carpet at the New York City premiere, fondly whispering in each others ears as JLo’s spider-inspired chest piece got in the way.

Getting back together with an ex is something some of us know all too well, whether it’s 20 days, months, or years, most people have that one person they just can’t seem to get rid of. An itch they just can’t scratch. I’m sure other celebrities have this too—Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez for many years until he proposed to Hailey just 90 days after their final reconciliation, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Cardi B and Offset—but dare I say, none of them have done it quite like Bennifer.
