Olivia's beauty secrets
My $50 Japanese comb, $6 soap, and why I'm addicted to red light therapy.
While I’m no Bella Hadid, I am pretty vain.
Beauty treatments, tools, and products are my favorite things to spend money on. Whether it’s a massage, a moisturizer, a new lip gloss, or a new hairbrush, I could have $20 left and spend all of it on something that makes me look and feel good.
I’m my most relaxed when I’m at the spa or nail salon. I am not relaxed in Sephora, but leave very happy. Contrary to what people may think, I’m not a snob about my wellness regime. A girl can have range, and you don’t need to break the bank to take care of yourself—I’ll go to Chinatown and spend $30 on a massage, get some herbs, and a $5 hair mask, or I’ll go to the Detox Market and spend $75 on clean makeup remover before stopping by the Hotel Chelsea for a $300 facial.
My friend Maddie and I always said that influencers don’t realize how good they have it, never having to pay for makeup or skincare or services ever again. I unfortunately have spent most of my money on these things. Because of this, I feel fairly qualified to provide some insight into what it is that keeps me healthy, beautiful, and happy.
