The 2022 Coffee Order Gift Guide: Beauty
Like Goop but...not as chic.
‘Tis the season of carving out the perfect holiday wishlist for yourself, and not knowing what to get anyone else.
As a Gwyneth follower and worshiper, I look forward to the Goop Gift Guides every year. I can’t afford a single thing, but boy, do I love to look.
In her footsteps that I usually like to follow, I decided to do a gift guide every week leading up until shipping cutoffs, so you know what to give and get this holiday season!
First up: The 2022 Coffee Order Beauty Gift Guide.
I love a gloss. I live for a gloss. I truly believe there’s nothing chicer than reapplying your gloss while out, and having an equally as chic product to be applying only makes it better.
2. Laneige Hydrate and Snooze gift set, $30
There’s nothing better than a Sephora gift set, truly. Laneige is known for their magical ability to turn the most chapped lips or skin and make it soft and supple again, so hop on the bandwagon without having to spend separately.
3. Le Labo shampoo and conditioner, $33 each
It seems a bit ridiculous to spend $33 on shampoo and conditioner respectively, but what else are the holidays for! I tried Le Labo in the shower at a hotel one time and consequently asked my mom to request more from housekeeping so that I could use it for the next six months. Truly life changing and just as luxurious as you would think.
4. Saie tinted mosturizer with SPF, $36
This is my holy grail makeup product. I use it every time I wear anything, and will continue to unless something absurd and unmissable crosses my screen. It’s super light, supple, and leaves a dewey glow all year round without it being too oily.
I asked for this a few years ago for the holidays in a travel size, and milked it until the bottle was basically dry. My hair was luscious, it made all of my baby hairs and flyaways lay gently, and solved every brittle hair issue I had. Plus, the bottle lasted for like, six months.
6. The Glossier Skincare Edit, $35
If you’ve heard all of the Glossier chatter but have never actually bought anything, know and love Glossier but want to try something new, or just love miniature things, this was one of the best beauty gifts I’ve gotten in recent years. It allows you to test all of their most famous products without committing or overspending, and gives you teeny-tiny balm.com’s.
7. Rare Beauty Soft Pinch liquid blush, $20
I’m a sucker for a liquid blush, and from what I’ve seen on TikTok, this should last you about 100 years with how little product goes a long way. It gives you that faux-sunburn look, giving you a cute flush minus the tentative wrinkles.
8. Starface Pimple Patches + monthly subscription, $13.49/month
I’ve been a subscriber for monthly pimple patches by Starface for almost a year, and have no signs of stopping. They come with a cute little reusable compact mirror, and make blemishes almost fun (?) to have.
These are an epic stocking stuffer, especially because they make you feel like you’re filming your own Vogue Beauty Secrets video. Plus, they actually work, and keep every ounce of face mask or product out of your hair and into your pores.
Now, where are you going to put all of this skincare on your list? A beauty fridge! Bring the spa to you and keep your serums, toners, masks and creams at a chilled temperature for a premium daily experience.
Send this to a friend so they catch the hint on what to get you this year!
