Things I Liked: May
PSA: It's my birth month.
Here I am again on my influencer soap box!
These are all of the things I enjoyed during the month of May
1. Short hair
I don’t have a link for this one (ha).
My roommate cut my hair in our kitchen in between our weekly Margarita Monday-to-bingo at our neighborhood bar pipeline, and although that may shock my mother, it turned out really well!
I feel chic, I feel free, I feel like myself. I feel like I could be on Pinterest myself.
In reference to last week’s post, I have recently caved and purchased low rise pants.
The cargo is coming back swinging, and are the perfect lightweight pant for the summer time. Dress them up, dress them down, wear them all around town!
I got these from Urban, they were on sale, and I’ve worn them so many times already.
In my quest to look like a cool Danish girl, I’ve recently decided that I need to elevate my wardrobe. With my current financial status, this merely means looking at Aritzia first for staple pieces, other than cheaper websites as “investments.”
This Sundae Best dress was $58, and I’ve already worn it a bunch despite only having it for a few weeks. It’s super comfortable, but also looks like you have your shit together, because it’s a dress.
4. Barrettes
Barrettes have a nostalgic quality to me because my mom used to use them to keep my sister and I from chewing on our hair.
Now, they’re a super cute Y2K accessory that only make me trendier!
When I lived a past life with long hair, I used to double up on each side. Now, I’m trying to figure it out, but these specific ones are a good option for a pop of color.
Holy cow. I was having trouble figuring out what to do for my 5th favorite, and then, it hit me.
Broad City, on Hulu, is the funniest show I’ve ever seen. Ilana and Abbi take us on a whirlwind journey through hooking up with neighbors, sh*tting in shoes, breaking into apartments, and pervy DJs for 5 seasons that literally will have you bothering everyone in your life to also watch.
Everyone who has a female best friend will find themselves relating your duo to them. I am most definitely an Abbi. If you’ve seen it, please let me know who you are.
If you want your friends to be influenced by me as well, send this to them <3
